How it started

A cofounder, a bad plumber, and one too many group chats

In November 2025, our cofounder Ramiro needed a plumber — and hit the same wall most people do. Ask around the neighborhood and hope someone remembers a name. Or scroll through agencies with no way to tell who's actually good, who's cheap because they cut corners, or who simply won't show up.

There was no reliable, predictable way to know who you were letting into your home. So Simon started building one. Workbag exists to make finding trustworthy home help as simple as it should have always been.
